Our camp, not a very good set up with the tarp but luckily there wasn't a lot of rain!

The other side of our new tent, so much more room

The coolest part about our new tent comes with a light and fan that attaches to the top of our tent.

This is the little light switch that is right inside the camping tent that controls the light and fan

New Tent

So far July has been quite a busy month for us. We have gone to Prescott for Heith's baseball game and then to Payson to go camping for our friend's birthday. These are some photos from that trip. We had just gotten a new tent because our other one finally broke after 7 years. It was time. There were so many new tents out there but we came across one at Sportsmens that we loved. It was huge but the best part was it came with a light and fan that is controlled by a little switch inside the door of your tent. That was what sold us. The size of this tent will give us way more space then the last one had. We went from a 6 person tent to a 9 person tent. This one also is 7' high so it just feels so much bigger as well. In Payson, we were about 40 miles from where the 3 bear attacks where in May and June so needless to say I was a little freaked out about the bears. We had a gun with us just in case at all times. It was nice they had just released the fire restrictions so we were able to have a camp fire. Our usual camping activities include 4 wheeling, shooting, naps, and just enjoying the peacefulness out in the woods. The weather was perfect so it wasn't too hot or too cold. We did get a little bit of rain but not where it was miserable. We left Friday around 3 and got back Sunday afternoon. It was a short trip but lots of fun.

The other photos are from one of our other friend's Birthday. We went to dinner at Blanco's in Scottsdale and then did Cosmic Bowling. We had a lot of fun with them. The photos are not so great because of all the smoke machines in the place but you get the idea! Heith is such a good bowler it drives me in sane. Well at least my competitive side, but all the guys were competing each game more so for bragging rights! I bowled a 126 my first game which ended up being my highest score. I can't stand how sore my wrist gets after only about 2 games. Anyways, just thought I would catch you up with a few things going on with us this month. Stay cool!
