Valentines Weekend

I didn't get too many photos of this weekend but I can still tell you all about it. Well Saturday we woke up around 8am and got ready to head to Sedona. Heith got me some beautiful flowers and a even more beautiful card that of course made me cry. We decided that we are going to get a WII so that was our valentines day gifts to each other. We also went to Sedona and Flagstaff for the weekend to snow board and get away. We headed out to Sedona around 10:00am with a few stops in between. By the time we got there we were ready for lunch because we skipped out on breakfast. After lunch we drove down a little past slide rock where we could get down to the creek. Every time we go to Sedona we always go down to the creek. Sometimes we have a picnic down their other times we just go and listen to the water running. It is so pretty. This time there was snow all the way down to the creek. We still went but then I realized my cute boots I was wearing were not water resistant. So my feet started to get wet and were freezing so we didn't stay as long as we like too needless to say. After that we headed into town to walk around. We went into some of the art stores and jewelry stores. We found this one store that had a lot of old classic toys and antiques. We found these really cool band aids and we just had to buy even though they were $6 bucks. They are black band aids with white skulls and cross bones on them. They are so cute! We grabbed a coffee drink for me to warm up and sat out at one of the prettiest spots to look out at the views. Then after that we decided it was time to head back to the hotel and check out the jacuzzi. Well it was now around 4pm and we heard the hotel lady saying that every place is booked up for dinner reservations in town. I was thinking to my self oh great we are going to be ordering pizza at the hotel. Which actually would have been OK with me. But we ended up finding a really nice place for dinner, we had about an hour wait but we sipped on a cocktail until we were seated. Met a really funny couple down there that ended up being seated right next to us. After we finished eating we just went back to the hotel because we were going to get up early to go to Flagstaff to snowboard. It was really packed there so we decided only to board for half the day. We ended up leaving the mountain around 12 and then stopped at this great salad and pizza place for lunch before heading back. On the way back into Phoenix we saw the coolest thing. There was a circular rainbow that went all the way around the sun. I didn't think my camera was going to get a good picture of it but it actually did pretty good. You can only see part of it because I couldn't put the lens directly in the sun but it looked so amazing. Here are the photos from this weekend.
