Heith's New Project

Well as you can see I uploaded the photos in the wrong order but you can still get the before and after of Heith's cross stencil he did. He put this above the hallway entrance. It turned out really neat. I wasn't sure what it was going to look like when he was explaining it but I trusted him that it would look nice, and as you can see it turned out great. Both of us started projects this weekend and this was one of Heith's. This only took him about 15 minutes so that was an easy one for him. His other project with the yard and landscaping changes are going to take a little longer. My project is to sew curtains for our bedroom windows. We finally picked out the fabric today and have every thing pretty much ready to start. The funny thing was we went in there to buy one fabric and by the time we left there we had changed up our whole original idea and bought a total different color of fabric and style. I do think it is going to look great though. I just thought it was funny how we changed our minds at the last minute. I will send pictures of mine once I finally finish. We got a great deal today on the fabric they were having 20% off their fabrics which saved us about $100 bucks so that was awesome. I am going to be attempting to make 2 long panels and 3 swags. So we will see how it turns out! :)

Go Heith and Angela! Seriously, Matt and I are the THE most untalented people when it comes to artistic design so seeing what you guys are doing is pretty much amazing! I wouldn't even know where to begin learning how to sow curtains. pff!
