Puerto Vallarta

We saw a lot of these little green guys running around at our hotel.

One of the pools at our hotel, there was 5 or 6 different kinds.

Heith and I out to dinner. We went with another couple we met on the zip line. It was a lot of fun, and right on the beach. It was called Claudia's.

The day Heith and I drove to Punta De Mita we rented body boards. Heith spent a good hour and a half out there.

This is me coming back after being gone 5 minutes. I was too scared and only could think about falling and sharks or crocodiles eating me! So Pathetic!

This was one of the first sunsets we got to see on our way back from Dinner at Eddies. He had live music and just a great place to go eat at.

This was up in the mountains after we did the zip line adventure. It was beautiful up there.

We got to see some dolphins at the marina. They were so cute.

This was inside our Hotel Lobby. They had these huge stone figures of people on either sides of the lobby. It was really neat. This is me holding up our goodies from going to 1 time share event. Minus the 500 pesos. :) We did good and said no, but they sure are pushy.

This was part of the zip line adventure where you repelled down this water fall. It was so cool. The water was pretty chilly but since it was so hot and humid there it felt amazing.

Well Puerto Vallarta was really fun and it was awesome to go and relax by the pool for 6 days. It was a lot more humid and hot then we anticipated. The best time to go is between October and January when the weather is in the 70's and 80's. We apparently picked one of the hottest times to go. We also got a lot of rain. Mostly every evening it would rain. It was nice that it wasn't in the day but it still made it even more humid for most of the mornings.

The zip line adventure probably made the trip for me. It was the most exciting, thrilling, scary thing ever. You don't have time to be scared because they just hook you from line to line and off you go. We only got a few of the photos from the adventure because they were way over priced but we have plenty of good memories from there.

We drove to a little town called Punta De Mita for the day and relaxed at their beach and rented some body boards. It was so calm over there. The water was just really beautiful. I've always been afraid a shark is going to come get me but the reason I was afraid of crocodiles was because at our hotel the kicked everyone out of the ocean one day because there was a crocodile in it. So from then on we just laid out by the pool. But I was officially traumatized. :)

It was nice to scratch off Puerto Vallarta from our vacation list but to be honest we really have no desire to go back. There are much prettier places we want to travel and see!
