Recipe!!!!- Fruit and Cheese Danish

Ok for all of those that were waiting here is the recipe!

1 egg separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 C sliced raw almonds
1/2 C Powdered Sugar
1/4 C almond paste or marzipan
4 ounces softened cream cheese
4 tsp any seedless fruit spread
1 to 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry thawed and refrigerated

Bake at 400 degrees on lower rack of oven for 20 minutes. Serves 4 large danishes or you can make smaller ones into 9. You can also double this recipe for large 8 danishes

With a mixer beat cream cheese and almond paste on high for 1 minute. Beat in 1/4 Cup powdered sugar. Beat in vanilla, salt, and egg yolk. Place pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll out to a 10" square. Cut into 4 equal squares. Put on a baking sheet that is covered with parchment paper. Dollop Cream Cheese mixture evenly in the center of each square. Top with 1 tsp of jam next to cream cheese mixture.
Beat egg white in separate bowl and brush pastry edges. Lift 2 opposite corners of pastry and cross over center, overlapping and pinching slightly. Brush tops with egg white and sprinkle with almonds.
In small bowl stir remaining 1/4 C powdered sugar and heavy cream. Drizzle over pastry once cooled!
