Well this year we decided to take camping to a new level. We went to the same usual spot but we decided to rent a camper with 4 other people. It was awesome. It had a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, all the necessities. We barely had to pack anything so that was nice. It was much more comfortable. I think we ruined it now and don't ever want to sleep in a tent again. We are even in fact looking at campers now or pop-ups. :) The weather was amazing for me at least. Even though I love camping I never enjoy the fact that I freeze my butt off at night. But this trip was different. It was no where near as cold as it normally gets. I loved it. Some people actually enjoy freezing their butts off and were a little bummed. But it cooled down enough where I could still bundle up next to my Heith and I didn't have to freeze. We came back on Monday and hit a little bit of traffic but it wasn't too bad. This year I also got some great ideas for meals while camping. Normally we just do burgers and brats, easy stuff to grill. Well this year the possibilities were endless. Some people brought up cinnamon rolls and cooked them over the fire inside orange peels, yeah amazing right!, then other people pre-cooked chicken and potatoes and wrapped them in foil and just put them over some hot coals to warm them up. So needless to say I have some good ideas next trip!

That looks so fun! We tried really hard to go camping this year and it never ended up happening. :( My family used to go camping a lot growing up and the meals we used to have were ridiculous! In a good way though. We had things like fajitas, salmon, steak, banans boats, blueberry pancakes, beef burritos, all of which was cooked over a fire. Yum!! I think I might camp just for the food. ;)
