Weekend Fun!

Heith was out of town this past weekend for a Golf tournament. Him, his dad, and some guys from work go every year to Nogales for this big tournament. So instead of staying home alone Thursday night and Friday night I kept my self busy with some girl friends. Thursday night I went to dinner with my friend Kristina. I had so much fun catching up with her and getting to hear all about her upcoming wedding plans. We have been going on 11 years of friendship and it is so nice to catch up when we get together. Then, on Friday night it was Heith's cousin Paul's graduation party. I got to see a lot of Heith's family that I had not seen in awhile so that was nice. I loved the slide show Amber did for Paul. It brought many tears to every one's eyes. After that I went and hung out with my friend Mira. She is also a friend that I have known for about 11 years. We went to Cadillac Ranch at Tempe Marketplace for a drink. Some how we got talked into riding the mechanical bull as you can see from the photos. It was a lot of fun. It was a lot harder then I thought it would be as well. Mira has done it before by her self and said it is much easier when only one person goes on it at a time. I stayed the night with Mira and woke up early to meet my parents for a quick breakfast. We went to my favorite Burrito place. YUM! YUM! They were off to go pick peaches at Schneps Farm and I was off to go back and take a nap. I ended up taking a 2 hour nap, it was wonderful.
Then, I decided to run to the mall and buy my cute husband a new shirt, and me a new shirt to wear for our date later that evening. Heith had bought me tickets for my birthday back in April to go see Brian Reagan. He is a really funny comedian and he was at the Dodge Theater so we went and saw him on Saturday night. He was really funny. He is really a clean comedian too. Sunday we went to church and then went out to dinner with my dad. He was in the area so it worked out good for us to go. We went to BJ's Brewery which is one of my favorites, and my dad's and then came home and watched the movie Troy. I was working on trimming up the curtains and doing laundry, while Heith ended up falling asleep during the movie. He was wiped out from his golf trip. My dad left around 3pm and Heith and I just laid around the rest of the day. It was so relaxing. This week I am starting the meal planning as well to help save money at the store. I think if I pick a meal for each night it will be cheaper then just buying a bunch of food. I also plan to organize the office a little more too so I am looking forward to that. I think it is just absolutely sick that I like to organize.
