Well Saturday we woke up and were meeting some friends up at Bartlet Lake to go camping. We didn't really know what to expect as far as how many other poeple would be there, but the place was packed. As you can see in one of the photos the water was really full. That was the view as we started to drive in. The desert looked so pretty and was very colorful with all the yellow flowers. It took us about 3 hours to actually find a place to camp at. After we got stuck in the sand and drove around for a while we finally found the spot. It was really pretty and down by the water. We were planning on pitching a tent but the only spot we found was slanted down toward the water so the ground was not flat. So luckily all of us that went had trucks and we all had to sleep in the beds. It was soooo cooold. Well at least for me it was. No one else seemed to have a problem with it. Heith and his friends played a washer game that Heith made and I read one of my books down by the water. We did some fishing and just hung out by the camp fire. It was a lot of fun. We packed up pretty early Sunday morning around 11 and headed into Cave Creek to get breakfast at one of our favorite breakfast places. Harolds in Cave Creek serves an awesome breakfast in case none of you knew that. Their french toast is awesome, well it doesn't beat my mom's home made french toast but it is still really good. The rest of today we just hung around the house and relaxed. Heith did some yard work and I did some laundry. Yippee! Can I just say sometimes laundry gets so old. Well that was pretty much all of our fun weekend.
