Well I am a little behind on the Thanksgiving recap but this is probably a good thing since it will be a shorted version. Thanksgiving morning we woke up about 8am and watched the parade on TV and I made some breakfast for us. Heith normally goes and plays football and this year he was going to go hunting instead but the weather was raining when they woke up to go. So it was nice we were home in the morning together. I called most of my family back in Indiana to wish them a Happy Turkey day and then it was time to get ready to head out to my Aunt and Uncles house in Gilbert. We were meeting there at 1pm. It was so good to see everyone and finally get to see Laura and Holli's new babies, they are both adorable! The food was great like always and the guys had their annual ping pong matches and then before you know it we had to head out to Heith's parents house for their Thanksgiving. His grandpa and grandma had just gotten in from Michigan a few days prior so it was nice getting to see them. His grandpa had hip replacement surgery almost a year ago and is doing really well. We all watched some football, played with baby Mya, and relaxed. It was a very fun day.
On Friday we woke up and went and played a game of Golf. It ended up being Heith, Anthony, Heith's dad, and me. We had a lot of fun. The weather was great out. I don't remember the final scores but I think everyone did pretty well. I on the other hand shoot in the 100's since its only my second time golfing. After the game we hurried home to make it to the ASU vs USC game. It was Senior day for ASU so it was an important game for them. They ended up winning and it was a really good game because for those of you who watched it got to see that the defense won the game for them. They scored all of their touch downs for them.
On Sunday my mom, Chantelle and her baby Lindsey, and I went to do some Christmas shopping over at Chandler Fashion Mall. We made some pretty good progress. I snapped a few quick photos of Lindsey because I just think she is the most adorable thing! She is turning one in a few weeks! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Well that was pretty much the whole weekend in a nutshell. It was a lot of fun.
This week we decorated for Christmas around the house and Sunday we are going to put up the lights on the outside of the house so I will send out some photos once we are done with that.
