Well T-Bone is officially at Bird School. He left 2 weeks ago already and is there about another 2-3 weeks. I think we get him back around February 9th. Heith went to visit him on Tuesday for the first time and T-bone was so interested in getting the birds he didn't really want to have much to do with Heith for the first 30 minutes. Then after his hunt was done he was licking Heith and snuggling up next to him. I bet it was so cute. I could not go because I had to work so I will not get to see him until he gets back. The trainer said he is doing really well. He loves the birds, and is very passive compared to most of the other dogs there. He also told us that he is a sensitive dog, and Heith told the guy he gets that from my wife. Ha ha.. He has had to zap him a few times with his shock collar to get him to come back because he will chase after the birds until he can't run anymore. They have also gotten him out of being gun shy which is really good too because he has been afraid of the shot gun noise. I will have to admit, as much as I love T-bone, it is kind of nice not having him here. I don't have to worry about being home by a certain time, I can sleep in and not feel like I have to get up and feed him, and I don't have to worry about spanking him for not listening to me. It has been pretty relaxing. I will be excited for him to come back though :). Hopefully he will remember me! :)
