Thanksgiving Fun

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to go to California and visit with some friends. My parents and sister were going back to Indiana, and I couldn't get off work or spend the money to go anywhere else this year unfortunately. Traveling to Europe, Michigan, and Indiana this year we were spent. So we left Wednesday night and drove to California. We were stuck in the worst traffic. It took us 8 hours to get to a 5 hour destination. We were pooped. Thursday we woke up and Eric and Heather made a fabulous breakfast for everyone. We played with the kids and relaxed and watched football. Friday, morning we woke up early and went to Ruby's Diner on the pier at Huntington Beach and had breakfast. It was really yummy. When we got back the guys went and played a round of Frisbee golf while us ladies baked pies and cookies. Then when the guys got back the kids went down for a nap and us ladies went and did a little shopping. It was not too crazy out on black Friday because we didn't go out until like 3pm. I got a few Christmas presents and a new top. We drove back on Saturday and we had much better traffic. We just relaxed when we got home. Sunday we went to church and then came out and did a major clean of the whole house. We wanted to give it a really good clean before we put up all our Christmas decorations. So we listened to some Christmas music and decorated the house. Now when you walk in it smells like Christmas! We love it!
