Heith had been working in Vegas all last week and got home on Friday. When I got home from work he had bought me this beautiful bouquet of flowers. I love how it has some Christmas greenery in it as well as the roses. He is such a great husband!
We made a ginger bread house for the first time. It turned out pretty quick. One thing we didn't realize was literally how fast the frosting hardens. But Heith made the snow icicles on the front and my specialty was the little snowman. HA HA. It was fun though!
We got our tree this past Sunday and put it up in the family room. It was a long weekend so we actually took a nap and did the ginger bread house and decided we would decorate the tree Tuesday night. So below is the finished tree!
I am so excited for this holiday season. One because I get to spend it with Heith and my family but also because my sisters are going to be here again. I can't wait. So I will have plenty of photos to upload coming soon!
